"Konk West" (born November 24 1978, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a French-Argentine electronic music dj, producer, and sound engineer.

Lucas Konk West started his musical journey playing drums at age of 4. He moved with his family from Argentina in the mid 80s, and landed in Paris, France where a new life was ignited. Konk West grew up fascinated by "US made and engineered" productions from the mid 80s. He soon joined punk, jazz, and funk bands in his early high school years and learned the basics of music while playing in an empty hangar near Paris, France.

His first contact with electronic machines was in high school (1991), while he attended mandatory music classes. His music teacher tried to initiate kids to music by teaching them MIDI based programs (Cubase), and using early sampling machines.

1994, Lucas Konk West is now playing as a Dj in the Paris metro area at only 16 years old. A new wave of electronic music artists is growing in France, especially in the "Talent Nest" of Versailles, Yvelines. Currently living in the US, he was for a long time a 'Parisian' activist in the local House music / Dance scene. He has been performing live acts, djing internationally and producing music (House Music and Other genres) since 1994. As a Dj, Lucas had residencies in the following cities : Paris, London, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Barcelona, and also sets all over Europe. He also performed live acts in France.

From 2003 to 2006, Konk West has been working on different projects out of the dance music scene. He released his first album titled "Play It!" in June of 2006. He also produced a remix for the grand opening of UK based label Premier Cru. Finally, he released with Canadian based record label Full Body Sound System his classic "Broken Crepe" song in May 2006.
